But actually, the term 'scarecrow' is part of the whole storyline of the album. It's all set in 2019 after the end of the world, and a company called Better Living Industries (BL/ind) takes over. They get rid of color, joy, freedom of expression, and music. If you listen closely to the album the reference medicine and pills a lot. That is referring to the pills BLI gives. They take away emotions, making you pretty much a breathing shell. In comes the Fabulous Killjoys, who fight this corporation. The company is run by Madame Director (the Asian woman in the Music videos for SING and Na Na Na), under her is the S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W (Korse, the baldy in the videos), and he is in charge of the Draculoids, or dracs (who are the guys in all white with the masks). Sorry for being repetitive if you knew all of that, just thouth I'd share.
